PhotoRobPriceProfessor Rob Price, a retired faculty member from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, received his MFA degree in art education and art history at Ohio University.

An Ada High School graduate, Rob briefly attended ONU in the early 1960s before receiving his bachelor’s degree at Miami University.

He eventually taught painting, drawing and printmaking at UW-Stout during a 30-year career. In addition, he has taught for several years in England through the Fulbright Program.

Influenced by abstract artists like Richard Diebenkorn and Francis Bacon, Rob uses the mix of figures and abstractions, as well as mixed media, in his work.

  1. Congrats on the exhibit, Rob. Let me know if you need photos of “One Bright Morning…”, it’s hanging in our hallway and is greatly admired. You were a sweetie to give it to me. When my time is up I’d like to make sure your daughter can have it if she’d like. I’m not planning on leaving anytime soon but you never know…
